THE ORIGINS OF IDSF / DANCESPORT HERITAGE
After many years as an executive within major national and international organizations—FIPD, FIDS, WDC, and WDSF—Davide Cacciari founded IDSF/DSH three years ago together with his Academy, composed of a group of around one hundred of the most outstanding experts in the field.
At the heart of this ambitious project lies the extraordinary collaboration with mentor Dr. Peter Maxwell, whose experience and vision guided every strategic and creative decision, laying the foundations for a reality destined to become a global beacon of dancesport.
The President of IDSF/DSH is Dr. Fabio Bosco, selected for his proven, long-standing experience as a WDSF educator, examiner, technician, and judge, as well as for his role as Director of the TEAM DIABLO ACADEMY for over twenty-five years. His leadership brings competence and authority to the management and development of the organization.
However, the vision behind IDSF/DSH was born much earlier. Fifteen years ago, the idea began to take shape through an innovative initiative known as the “Underground Project”—a laboratory of strategies, insights, and innovations where the rules of success and the seemingly insurmountable obstacles were identified and analyzed.
Over the years, Cacciari worked side by side with highly experienced dancesport executives, accumulating knowledge, wisdom, and expertise that today guide every decision within IDSF/DSH.
IDSF/DSH has also embraced the mission of working exclusively with teachers who are among the very best on the global market, including the true “LEGENDS OF WORLD DANCESPORT,” thereby elevating every educational program and competition to levels of absolute excellence.

IDSF/DSH operates within the CSIT system, under the guidance of President Bruno Molea, an international sports organization recognized by the IOC.
THE MERANO FORUM 2025
At the Merano Forum 2025, attended by approximately 300 professionals from the field, including leading figures in the global technical landscape, Davide Cacciari presented the four fundamental pillars upon which IDSF/DSH is built.
Today, the organization is recognized as one of the best worldwide, capable of combining competitive excellence, technical education, inclusion, and talent development across all age groups. The Forum represented a moment of discussion, professional development, and strategic vision, confirming the central role of IDSF/DSH on the international dancesport scene.
1. Next Generation Dancers
Young athletes are the future of any sports organization. They represent vital energy and potential on which future successes are built. Investing in youth means offering high-quality technical training, opportunities for personal and athletic growth, and motivating pathways that develop discipline, teamwork, and resilience. They are not only the champions of tomorrow but also ambassadors of the organization’s values and culture.
2. Seniors
Seniors form the core of experience and stability within the organization. Having already faced the challenges of competition, they can pass on knowledge, values, and sporting culture to younger generations. Their participation ensures a high level of competition and professionalism, while also serving as a model of dedication and consistency. Dancesport is unique in offering these categories a pathway specifically aimed at physical well-being, promoting health, mobility, balance, and bodily harmony.
3. Amateur and Master Classes
Athletes in the amateur and master classes represent absolute competitive excellence at the global level. 4. Paralympic Dancesport

LE ORIGINI DI IDSF / DANCESPORT HERITAGE
Dopo tantissimi anni da dirigente, maturati in grandi organizzazioni nazionali e internazionali – FIPD, FIDS, WDC e WDSF – Davide Cacciari ha dato vita a IDSF/DSH tre anni fa, insieme alla sua Accademia, composta da un gruppo di circa cento grandissimi esperti del settore. Alla base di tutto questo grande progetto c’è la straordinaria collaborazione con il mentore Dr. Peter Maxwell, la cui esperienza e visione hanno guidato ogni scelta strategica e creativa, ponendo le basi per una realtà destinata a diventare un faro della danza sportiva mondiale.
Il presidente di IDSF/DSH è il Dr. Fabio Bosco, scelto per la sua comprovata esperienza pluriennale come formatore, esaminatore, tecnico e giudice della WDSF e direttore dell'ACCADEMIA TEAM DIABLO da oltre venticinque anni, portando competenza e autorevolezza nella gestione e nello sviluppo dell’organizzazione.
Ma la visione che ha portato a IDSF/DSH nasce molto prima. Quindici anni fa, l’idea prende forma nel progetto innovativo chiamato “Progetto Sommergibile”: un laboratorio di strategie, intuizioni e innovazioni, dove sono state scoperte le regole del successo e gli ostacoli impossibili da superare.
In tutti questi anni, Cacciari ha lavorato fianco a fianco con espertissimi dirigenti della danza sportiva, accumulando esperienza, saggezza e conoscenze che oggi guidano ogni scelta di IDSF/DSH.
IDSF/DSH ha inoltre incarnato la missione di lavorare solo con maestri che siano tra i migliori esistenti sul mercato, tra cui le vere "LEGGENDE DELLA DANZA SPORTIVA MONDIALE", elevando così ogni programma formativo e competizione a livelli di eccellenza assoluta.
IDSF/DSH non è solo un’organizzazione. È un faro, un punto di riferimento globale. È dove tradizione e innovazione si fondono, dove arte e disciplina diventano competizione e spettacolo. IDSF/DSH opera all'interno del sistema CSIT guidata dal Presidente Bruno Molea, organizzazione sportiva internazionale riconosciuta dal CIO.
IL FORUM DI MERANO 2025
Al Forum di Merano 2025, a cui hanno partecipato circa 300 addetti ai lavori, tra cui eccellenze nel panorama tecnico mondiale, Davide Cacciari ha presentato i quattro pilastri fondamentali su cui si fonda IDSF/DSH. L’organizzazione è oggi riconosciuta come una delle migliori a livello mondiale, capace di coniugare eccellenza agonistica, formazione tecnica, inclusione e sviluppo dei talenti in tutte le fasce di età. Il forum ha rappresentato un momento di confronto, aggiornamento e visione strategica, confermando il ruolo centrale di IDSF/DSH nel panorama internazionale della danza sportiva.
1. I Giovani
I giovani sono il futuro di qualsiasi organizzazione sportiva. Rappresentano la linfa vitale e il potenziale su cui costruire successi futuri. Investire nei giovani significa offrire formazione tecnica di qualità, opportunità di crescita personale e sportiva, e percorsi motivanti che sviluppino disciplina, spirito di squadra e resilienza. Non sono solo i campioni di domani, ma anche ambasciatori dei valori e della cultura dell’organizzazione.
2. I Senior
I senior costituiscono il cuore dell’esperienza e della stabilità dell’organizzazione. Sono coloro che hanno già vissuto le sfide della competizione e possono trasmettere conoscenze, valori e cultura sportiva ai più giovani. La loro partecipazione garantisce un livello elevato di competizione e professionalità, ma anche un modello di dedizione e costanza. La danza sportiva è l’unica disciplina che riserva a queste categorie un percorso mirato al benessere fisico, promuovendo salute, mobilità, equilibrio e armonia corporea.
3. Le classi Amatori e Master
Gli atleti delle classi amatori e master rappresentano l’eccellenza agonistica assoluta a livello mondiale. Sono campioni che, grazie a passione, disciplina e costanza, raggiungono performance di altissimo livello. Queste classi costituiscono un modello di perfezione tecnica, determinazione e resilienza, diventando un punto di riferimento per tutti gli atleti.
4. Il Paralimpico
Il pilastro paralimpico garantisce inclusione e pari opportunità per gli atleti con disabilità. Integra l’organizzazione con programmi dedicati che favoriscono la partecipazione sia agonistica sia sociale. L’attenzione al Paralimpico riflette valori di equità, rispetto e valorizzazione delle diversità, mostrando che lo sport è uno strumento di crescita personale e di coesione comunitaria per tutti.
IL FUTURO DI IDSF/DSH
Guardando avanti, IDSF/DSH continua a tracciare la rotta della danza sportiva mondiale. La sua missione non si limita a formare campioni, ma a creare una comunità globale dove talento, disciplina e passione si incontrano. Ogni giovane, ogni senior, ogni atleta amatore, master o paralimpico trova qui uno spazio dove crescere, esprimersi e superare i propri limiti.
Con la visione di Davide Cacciari, il supporto della sua Accademia di grandissimi esperti e la collaborazione di mentori straordinari come Peter Maxwell, IDSF/DSH non guarda solo al presente: plasma il futuro della danza sportiva, innovando, ispirando e creando leggende.
In ogni passo, in ogni gesto, in ogni performance, si manifesta l’eccellenza, la passione e il mito di una disciplina che continua a evolversi, guidata da chi crede che la danza sportiva sia molto più di uno sport: sia un’arte, una cultura e una leggenda vivente.
